What is this job about?
Electrical Engineer in design engineering works on single line diagrams in AutoCAD, wiring diagrams in ePlan, models in Revit, communicates with the customer via conference calls, participates in engineering meetings with equipment suppliers, develops new skills and knowledge through internal and external education and sometimes travels to meetings with the customer. Electrical Engineer will be part of a young team of engineers with a lot of knowledge in various disciplines.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Developing of project conceptual and detailed design
- Based on input data (information, requirements, standards), development of electrical project documentation: power and lighting calculations, selectivity and coordination studies, diagrams, layouts, schedules, cable running lists, detail drawings, descriptions, instructions, material submittals, presentations and marketing materials etc.
- During design following and taking into consideration international, national and company standards and good engineering practices
- Using knowledge and experience to fulfill requirements given by project tasks
- Participating in kick-off meeting, regular project team meetings, and on-site coordination meetings
- Reporting project status to Project Lead Engineer and Project Manager
- Proactive cooperation with all team members during project execution
- Initiating RFI („Request for Information “) in cases where additional clarification is needed
- Development of defined documents according to Document list (DLIST)
- Verification and approval of workshop documentation developed by subcontractors
- Specifying Bill of Material and services required for project execution
- Specification of necessary certificates for materials needed to be ordered
- Supporting suppliers with additional information during bidding phase of sourcing (offer submitting)
- Providing technical approval for received supplier offers
- Providing technical support to subcontractors and installers during production/assembly
- Cooperation with Manufacturing and Site deployment engineering team
- Cooperation with Site Manager during assembly, providing technical solutions to raised issues
- Cooperation with Quality Control during quality control of components/systems and assembly on Site
- Cooperation with Commissioning engineer on testing documentation development
- Participation on internal testing and FAT

- A University degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years experience
- Active knowledge of English
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, EPLAN, SKM, MS Office
- Solid communication skills, both written and oral, to work across multiple Engineering and Manufacturing teams to bring architectures and concepts to deployment
