Simple Code (development agency from Zagreb) is looking for an ambitious QA tester!
We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer (QA tester) who is familiar with various testing methodologies, tools, and processes. This person will be responsible for testing digital products using modern technologies. The end goal is to coach and mentor that person and over time promote the QA into a full-time junior web developer or QA engineer. We’ll invest all our strength and knowledge into training and mentoring.
We would like to meet someone who:
- understands the concept of Software Development Life Cycle and the programming logic behind it
- understands QA processes and the role of a QA position
- has experience with common QA methodologies
- has experience in programming, especially in JavaScript (high school/college projects or does some programming in free time)
What kind of work tasks are we talking about:
- testing applications, web and other digital products
- bug and error report analysis
- working on test automation (writing Cypress tests) as well as manual testing
- analysis of existing processes and proposing new solutions
What will you do after the onboarding process is finished:
- app and web testing (manual testing, testing on different devices and resolutions, detection of errors)
- tracking tickets that are in the QA phase
- analysis of existing processes
- proposing solutions and finding new tools
- close cooperation with the rest of the team and the project manager in order to improve quality
You will fit in perfectly if:

- You have strong organizational skills

Salary: 35 kn/h–50 kn/h student wage (for students with experience and knowledge in the QA field – which will be defined during the selection process)
