The role
As a Software Engineer in Test, you will be a member of the software development team and work closely with the Lead Architect and other developers with your main responsibility being the development of software for testing (tools, frameworks, automated tests) that will be used to ensure our state-of-the-art premium technology product is delivered in high quality. You will be given the opportunity to know the entire system and also be able to play a contributory or reviewer role in the creation of designs for production software.

Your tasks:

Collaborating with architects, developers, and product owners in order:

to identify software quality Key Performance Indicators
-
formulate test scenarios and appropriate test data
-
plan testing schedules in line with delivery dates
-
identify system requirements
-
- Developing test automation frameworks and tools tailored to our products
- Automating test scenarios using the developed frameworks
- Suggesting and setting up the infrastructure needed to run tests
- Collaborating with the DevOps team to help set up CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments

Developing tests to assist in manual and exploratory testing

Creating and managing bug and performance issue reports
-
Providing proactive feedback and recommendations for improvement
Job requirements:
-
At least 3 years of experience in software development and testing
-
Good coding skills and knowledge of Java and JVM performance monitoring tools
-
Familiarity with SQL (PostgreSQL is a bonus), distributed systems, and message brokers
-
Knowledge of Apache Kafka is a bonus
-
High attention to detail, data-driven mindset
-
Excellent command of English
