We are looking for a CMOS Design Engineers in both Mixed Signal and Digital specialties for full-time employment in our office in Zagreb, Croatia.

We’re designing and building the world’s most energy-efficient, bandwidth efficient, and spectrum efficient radio, removing existing barriers to massively increasing wireless communications capacity. We have recently formed a subsidiary in Zagreb, Croatia (Eridan Communications d.o.o.) to expand our presence in Europe and build a design team to work closely with the California operation.
We’re looking for a CMOS Design Engineers in both Mixed Signal and Digital specialties for full-time employment in our office in Zagreb, Croatia. You’ll be responsible for leading individual design development efforts as well as being a principal contributor to their subsequent conversion to a fully integrated custom ASIC for volume production. This is a great opportunity for engineers who want to grow rapidly and stay involved with every aspect of the design process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop CMOS based transmitter and receiver mixed signal and/or digital CMOS circuits.
Design unit test and integration test hardware (BIT) and procedures.
Assist in demonstrations and customer interface.
Self-starter, independent, communication skills, and an ability to deal with the unpredictable.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Recent graduate, or 1-2 years industry experience developing CMOS mixed-signal integrated circuits or digital integrated circuits. Knowledge of one or more of ADCs, DACs, Op Amps, VCOs, Mixers, Frequency Counters, PLLs, VHDL, or Verilog. Cadence schematic capture and layout experience is required. Good communication skills, fluency in English.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS (none are required, but any of these are a plus)
Experience with tape out, test and evaluation of IC designs, MATLAB, C++, and Linux. Familiarity with standard digital interfaces such as SPI. Radio communications experience, including Amateur Radio. FPGA to ASIC conversion.
EDUCATION
Master of Science or Dipl. Ing. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Math required. Advanced degree (MS or PhD) is a plus.
