Hello! My name is Antea and I graduated from FER quite a few years ago. Unlike many of my classmates, I didn’t enrol in FER because I fell in love with programming in high school. In fact, I went to a classical gymnasium where the emphasis was on humanistic subjects and my interests lay in an unusual combination of philosophy, logic, and mathematics. At the urging of my physics professor (thanks professor!), I ended up at FER and although it was quite a challenge to grasp new concepts after all those Latin and Greek lessons, FER was actually a great choice. At the end of the day, perhaps programming is a kind of philosophy? 🙂
My name is Andrea and I enrolled in FER because I fell in love with programming back when we only learned about it at the level of flowcharts in high school. For my totally analytical, introverted side, FER was a perfect choice. However, as my career progressed, my creative side awakened more and more, and I enjoyed working with people. Sharing knowledge and encouraging others to do something more became part of my everyday life – from leading teams, mentoring others in the workplace and volunteering with the Code Club association, to organising the Women in Data Science conference and the Leading in Tech meetup, as well as the latest project, Mentoring Byte. I currently invest most of my energy in developing a Toddler.js and two Baby.js libraries, and my passion is baking cakes of all shapes and forms.
Hello everyone, my name is Ivan Ralašić. I graduated from FER 6 years ago and then got my PhD 2 years ago. I currently work as a technical director at the American start-up Forsight, where we develop systems for intelligent video surveillance of construction sites and other industrial environments. In my spare time, I play tamburitza, ride my bike, and travel.
Hi, I’m Kristina and I’m still not fully aware that I’m not a student anymore. At FER, I actually had little experience with “electricity” because I often chose courses that had to do with computing and later with nuclear safety, which is why I enrolled in FER. During my studies, I volunteered at BEST, participated in 2 summer internships organised by the Career Centre, worked in 2 electrical engineering companies, and, what I like the most, helped to set up the FER esports section, which I now occasionally advise. At HELB, I’m working on an EU project with partners HEP ODS, Sedam IT, and FER, where we’re developing a system to monitor and predict losses in secondary distribution. When I’m not working, I try to spend as much time as possible with friends and family, because I realised a long time ago that my strength comes from these relationships.

My name is Davor Brunović and I’ve been working at INETEC for 7 years. I graduated from the vocational school in Samobor, profile computer technician, and enrolled at FER. Originally, I wanted to expand my knowledge more in the direction of electronics development, so I decided to make a guitar amplifier for my final project in high school. Even though the thing ended up working, it firmly convinced me that software was actually the right direction for me. My hobbies include cycling, playing guitar, freerunning and playing online, VR and board games.
