GridData GmbH is an innovative startup company with an office location in Traunstein in Southern Bavaria. GridData offers its customers innovative, patented Software solutions for the fusion and processing of electricity grid related data, including Smart Meter and Smart Inverter data (see www.griddata.eu). GridData coordinates the technical work in the European innovation project Net2DG (see www.net2dg.eu); the announced position will expectedly contribute to prototype development for the so-called ICT gateway and for data analytics applications in the Net2DG project.
We are looking for support of our growing R&D team. Specifically, we are looking for a Software Developer for the development of prototypes and commercial software solutions for the interfacing to and fusion of data from electricity distribution grids. This is a full-time permanent position at our office location in Traunstein, Germany.
Professional qualifications for prospective candidates:
For this challenging and creative task embedded in the dynamic environment of a startup company, we look for the following skills:
- Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or electrical engineering,
- Experience in Software development (Java),
- Good English skills, basic German skills an advantage,
- Good communication skills,
- Independent and self-driven.
Experience in one or several of the following topics is an advantage:
- Interfacing with sensors,
- Web interfaces (HTTP REST, WebSocket, Publish/Subscribe) and user interfaces (JavaScript),
- GIS, Databases, and data modeling,
- Data analytics and machine learning.
