Your Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Data Analytics platform, leading multiple project development teams and working together with major automotive OEMs
- Innovative and strategic projects in the automotive industry for various domains (fleet data, RDE, ADAS, …) related to Data Management
- Design and implementation of project-oriented business intelligence and Big Data architecture taking into consideration established best practice approaches
- Use of most up-to-date technologies in the area of SW development, Big Data analytics, distributed data storage, and cloud computing
- Development of scalable infrastructures and systems, capable to store and process large amount data, including designing and implementing streaming data in real-time
- Support in developing new strategic technology-related issues
- Strong focus on software quality and smooth software delivery process
- Support to BI, analytics and data science teams with the development of integrated data solutions and infrastructures
- Optimization and further development of available data management solutions in regard to architecture, data organization and performance
- Use of most up-to-date tools for a quick, integrated high performance development of new solutions
- Permanent learning process based on individual training concepts to build up a firmly based specialized know-how
Your Profile:
- Engineering education (MSc, MEng or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Informatics/Telematics, Mathematics/Statistics or Engineering Degree
- 5+ years of experience in Full Stack software development
- Proven leadership skills
- A profound understanding of structured and unstructured data (experience with SQL and NoSQL databases)
- Hands-on experience with programming or scripting languages (Python, .NET, TypeScript, bash, …)
- Extensive knowledge of software design patterns and experience of building solutions from starch
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles (CI/CD, automated testing, maintenance and refactoring, …)
- Experience in cloud-based solution development (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
- Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English, willingness to learn German
- Willingness and ability to interface constructively with a global team
- Readiness for business trips in course of development projects
- Preferable:
- Working knowledge of vehicle architectures, communication, and components
- Driving License
