Your responsibilities:
- Implementation of data analytics algorithms in R and Python (PySpark),
- Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques,
- Support various technical fields within AVL and at our customer (mainly automotive OEMs) with data analytics which implies the ability and interest to extend knowledge beyond own field of expertise (e.g. transmission, e-drive, battery, electronics, etc.,
- Support pre-sales and sales activities (RFQ, RFP handling) with domain knowledge,
- Support of and cooperation with software implementation teams in AVL’s international network of affiliate,
- Responsibility for the technical, methodological and quality aspects.
Your profile:
- Experienced in statistics and applied mathematics including machine learning applications,
- Firm in programming languages applied for data science, especially Python and R,
- Experience in other programming languages are beneficial (e.g. C#, Scala, MATLAB),
- Highly developed quality awareness with strong attention to details, self-organized with ability to work in a team, organizational and problem-solving skills,
- Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English, willingness to learn German and to work in an international team,
- Preferable:
- Working knowledge of vehicle architectures, communication, and components,
- Experience in time-series processing,
- Willingness to travel in the context of project execution,
- Driving License.
