Here are a few quick things about us, in case you’re new here. We’re a close-knit team, very friendly, passionate about what we do. We love building great products and, if you stick around, we’ll show you how we do it.
Now, let’s get to you! Ideally, you already have a Bachelor’s Degree and you’ll be done with school within a year or two. You know a bit about React.js but would love to know more. Also, you want to learn about Ruby on Rails. As far as your personality traits go, we want someone who is forward-thinking and loves to explore, especially when it comes to front-end. Proactive, open-minded, and playful should describe you best.
Tl;dr of what we’re looking for:
- interest in React.js and Ruby on Rails,
- Bachelor’s Degree or above,
- able to work 30+ hours,
- open to learning,
- inquisitive and flexible,
- responsible and detailed oriented,
- fluent in English.
What you’ll work on
🌍 You’ll add things to this website
We’re currently trying to make our website shine through and be the best it can be. This is where you come in, implementing all the changes we have in mind and in-store. The really cool thing about this is that you have the freedom to experiment and try out new things. Think of our web as a playground with a sandbox full of code. Go wild!
⚡️ Performance and optimization
You know, almost no one goes past the first page. So, our page should be the first one found, putting our services closer to potential clients. We would rely on you to make our web the most relevant of all. You will need to add and refresh content, resolve any technical issues, and make a search-engine-friendly design. As you can gather, you won’t be doing all of this alone. Your wonderful coworkers will help you whenever and with whatever. Just bring some team spirit and a few jokes as a thank-you.
🙌 Working well with others
A part of your job will be collaborating with the people you work with. We hear they’re a great bunch. For the most part, you will be closely working with our design team. Together, you will create a seamless UI and a web with real razzle-dazzle. Simple, fluid, and efficient design is what we look for and what you will be working on.
Don’t worry, you will never be left to your own devices. As soon as you start working, you’ll have an experienced mentor, a dedicated person with lots of experience, promoting your growth. He or she will be here to guide you. This means helping you complete your task, lending out a hand when you’re stuck, making you better at the thing you know, and teaching you what you don’t. If further development and sharpening your skills is what you want, this is the way to do it.
What we offer:
- flexible work hours – the job needs to be done, you pick the time,
- possibility of working remotely when needed,
- paid vacation days,
